  • R60,000.00 – 70,000.00 CTC.


  • Tertiary formal education certificate or diploma.
  • Previous experience within a Business Intelligence development domain.
  • Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for business.
  • Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders.
  • Creation of Monthly Reporting through Business Intelligence.
  • Group Flash Reporting through Business Intelligence including gap analysis.
  • Improved Data Consolidation for annual budgets through Business Intelligence.
  • Engaging with the Group holistically around respective approaches and mechanisms involved in the generation of CRM methodologies.
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g., Inventory planning, warehouse management).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Great interpersonal skills.

  • Extract requirements -determine a project’s requirements by extracting them from business or government policies, as well as from current and future users, through interaction and research.
  • Anticipate requirements-Formulate baseline plans, subject to modification, and anticipating requirements that will be needed in the future or that have not yet been considered is essential to successful outcomes.
  • Constrain requirements-Ensure focus must remain on core business needs, and not users’ personal preferences, functions related to trends or outdated processes, or other non-essential modifications.
  • Organize requirements-Organize requirements into related categories to effectively manage and communicate them. Requirements to be sorted into types according to their source and applicability. Prevent project requirements from becoming overlooked, leading to optimum use of time and budgets.
  • Translate requirements-Use experience to translate business requirements to guide the team to achieve technical requirements. Using powerful analysis and modelling tools to match strategic business objectives with practical technical solutions.
  • Safeguard requirements-Protects the business and user’s needs by verifying functionality, accuracy and completeness of the requirements against the original initiating documents. Safeguarding minimizes risk by ensuring requirements are being met before investing further in system development.
  • Simplify requirements-Offer simplicity and ease of use, especially in implementation. Further identify and avoid extraneous activities that do not solve the problem or help reach the objective.
  • Verify requirements-Continually verify the requirements and reject implementations that do not advance business objectives. Verifying requirements is accomplished through analysis, test, demonstration, and inspection.
  • Managing requirements-Present formal requirements, review, and approval to the organization. Project schedules, costs and duration estimates are updated, and the business objectives are revisited. Upon approval, the individual is to transition into requirements management activities for the rest of the IT solution life cycle.


  • Responsible for the implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments in collaboration with respective product heads.
  • To identify problems and opportunities within a company and ultimately provide solutions that help achieve the business strategic goals linked to People, Information and Technology, Financial Sustainability and Customer focus.
  • The business / organizational analyst will engage with product heads, sales management, and stakeholders within the organization to understand how data-driven changes to process, products, pricing, services, software, and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value to the organization.
  • Collaborating with financial business intelligence systems and IT teams to develop initiatives and strategies that optimize costs and improve internal and external reporting.
  • While working as the agent of change within the organization, they must articulate those ideas whilst working within an agreed process.
  • Importantly to balance these intended efficiencies against what is technologically feasible and financially and functionally reasonable.
  • Develop reporting systems to ensure Organizational sustainability.
  • Enhance Business strategic knowledge through optimized insight through improved reporting mechanisms.
  • Facilitate improved decision making within the organization to the benefit of all stakeholders.
  • The development of own reporting mechanisms utilizing previous Logistics Industry knowledge to offer new insight to the Group
  • The Business Analyst should also drive fresh initiatives for financial planning and business intelligence systems.
  • To provide financial insights that help the decision-making process and align capital and resource allocation within the business budget.
  • Optimize reporting and Group synergies to better serve the business / clients.
  • Ensure optimized reporting allows for commercial areas of the business to achieve better insight into client needs and requirements.
  • Assist in the creation of a CRM system.
  • Allow improved insight offered by commercial analysis to beneficiate our client base.
  • Institute automatic health check against operational performance.
  • Assist in the creation of automatic KPI tools.
